How to Activate Your Spacetalk Mobile Plan

Congratulations on your new Spacetalk mobile plan! In order to get your plan set up and start using your watch, you will need to activate it. This article will guide you through the process step by step.

Step 1: Head to Spacetalk Mobile

The first step to activating your mobile plan is to head to Spacetalk Mobile. This is where you will create a new account or log in to your existing account to add your new service.

Step 2: Create Your Account and Verify Your ID

Once you have accessed Spacetalk Mobile, you will need to create an account and verify your ID. This is a quick and easy step that helps keep your account secure. Acceptable ID examples include a Driver’s Licence, Passport, or Medicare card.

Step 3: Choose which SIM to activate

Select which SIM you want to activate: physical or eSIM.
If you ordered a physical SIM, you will need to have this before you can continue.

For Spacetalk Watches:

If you purchased a Spacetalk watch, the physical SIM is already inserted into your watch. Choose 'Physical SIM' and enter your SIM number. Your SIM serial number is a 13-digit number. You can find this located on the SIM card inside the box your watch came in or on the sticker on the side panel.

Please note that eSIMs will not work with your Spacetalk smartwatch, so be sure to select the correct SIM type.

Step 4: Enter Your Voucher Code (If Applicable)

If you have a voucher code, enter it now. When you purchase a Mobile plan from our website, the voucher codes were sent via email from '[email protected]'.

If you do not have a voucher code, you can select a plan from the list of available wearable plans.

Step 5: Choose a Phone Number

Spacetalk Watches require a phone number to make and receive calls. We recommend activating the SIM and choosing a new phone number. However, if you prefer, you can also port your existing phone number in from another carrier. To port your number, ensure you have the account number from your current carrier (for post-paid plans) or the date of birth linked to your pre-paid plan for verification. You will also receive a verification code via SMS to confirm the process.

Step 6: Add Your Payment Method

All our plans are on Auto Recharge, you will need to add a payment method. This is necessary even if you entered a voucher code earlier. We accept Visa and Mastercard. You can always update your card details in your Mobile Portal later.

Step 7: Congratulations, Your Plan is Activated!

Your new wearable plan should activate shortly, usually within 5 minutes. However, during busy periods like Christmas, it may take up to 4 hours. We will keep you updated on the progress of your activation via email and SMS. If your SIM card is lost or was not included with your device, you can request a replacement through our support team.
