Australia: Transfer a Spacetalk mobile plan you purchased

How to activate a Spacetalk mobile plan purchased from our website to a different email address.

If you purchased a Spacetalk Mobile plan from our website but you want to activate the plan to a different email address, you can follow this guide. This could be because you are gifting the plan to someone else or you are setting up the plan for someone else.

The mobile plans you purchased from our online store will automatically be assigned in the Spacetalk app to the email address used for the purchase. To use a different email address for the mobile plan, you will need to transfer it to the other users account. You can do this in your Spacetalk app by following the below steps.

How to transfer a plan to another email address

Step 1: Access your Spacetalk App

Open your Spacetalk app, the app account you would like to transfer the purchased plan to. From the home screen, select Membership at the bottom.

Step 2: Activate SIM

On your Membership page, select Activate SIM

Step 3: Who purchased the SIM?

Here, you can select who purchased the plan. Select Someone else purchased it for me and press Continue to proceed to the next step

Step 4: Transfer a Plan

To confirm the purchased plan is to be transferred, an access code will need to be sent to the person/account that purchased the plan initially. If that person is ready to receive and provide you with the code, select Continue

Step 5: Request a Plan Transfer

Enter the email address of the person who purchased the plan so you can request the transfer. If the email address matches the one used to purchase the plan, a 6-digit code will be sent.

Please ask them to share this code with you so you can complete the transfer.

Step 6: Enter Access Code

Once you’ve received the 6-digit code, enter it where prompted and select Confirm to finalise the transfer

Step 7: Transfer Complete

Once you’ve successfully entered the code, a summary of the plan that was purchased will appear. If you’re ready to activate your SIM, select Activate Now – otherwise you can select to Skip and set it up at a later date.
