Spacetalk Wearable Devices and SIM Cards

If you have purchased a Spacetalk wearable device after March 2024, there are some important things you need to know about your Spacetalk watch.

Spacetalk wearable devices sold after March 2024 in Australia are softlocked to the Spacetalk Mobile service we offer. This means that the device will only operate on our network and will not work with any other networks' SIM card, even if you have a subscription to our app.

What Happens if I Use a Different SIM Card?

If you have a SIM card from another network in your Spacetalk watch, you will find that your watch won't pair to your app. This is because our devices are designed to work exclusively with our SIM cards and our network.

How to Activate Your Spacetalk SIM Card

To activate your SIM card, simply visit https://mobile-activate.au.spacetalk.co/ and create an account. You will need to provide a form of identification, such as a driver's license or Medicare card, and your service will be activated within 4 hours. If you wish to transfer your current number from another provider, you can do so during the activation process.

What if I Didn't Receive a SIM Card?

In the rare event that you did not receive a SIM card with your Spacetalk wearable device, or if you have lost it, please contact our customer support team. They will be able to assist you in getting a new SIM card sent to you.
