All Spacetalk watches require a SIM card and mobile plan for their connectivity and functionality. Here’s an overview of the requirements and guidelines for setting up your Spacetalk device:

Overview

Spacetalk devices requires a SIM card and an active mobile plan to enable features like calling, messaging, and location services. These devices are managed through the Spacetalk app, which connects to your smartphone for full control and customization.

Requirements for Spacetalk Watch

To set up and use a Spacetalk Watch, you’ll need:

  1. Spacetalk App Subscription: This subscription allows you to manage the watch effectively from your phone. Charges may apply, see App fees for details.

  2. Wearable SIM Plan for the Watch: The watch uses its own dedicated plan to enable calls, messages, and data for location services. You can choose a plan from any carrier that supports the watch’s connectivity. Unlocking fee may apply if you are in Australia, USA or UK. See Unlocking fees for more details.

There’s no need to buy a separate smartphone, as the watch is paired with your existing smartphone via the app.

Once everything is set up, you can manage your child’s watch using the Spacetalk app installed on your smartphone.

Managing Spacetalk Devices with the App

The Spacetalk app is your central hub for managing your devices. Through the app, you can:

  • Set up and make changes to SIM card plans (for countries with Spacetalk Mobile).
