Before you get started, you will need the following for you Spacetalk watch to be fully functional:
A smartphone: To configure and manage the watch features, the parent, guardian or carer will need to have a smartphone. The watch wearer will not need a smartphone.
A Spacetalk App Subscription: The Spacetalk App subscription allows you to manage the watch effectively from your phone. Charges apply but may be waived in applicable countries that have a Spacetalk Mobile SIM plan.
Nano SIM card: All Spacetalk watches require a SIM card and mobile plan for their connectivity and functionality. The SIM card and an active mobile plan enables watch connectivity features like calling, messaging, and location services.
If you are in Australia, USA or UK: a SIM card will be provided to you with your watch purchase.
For all other countries: a nano SIM card from your SIM Plan provider is needed.
Wearable SIM Plan: The watch uses its own dedicated mobile plan to enable calls, messages, and data for location services. You can choose a plan from any carrier that supports the watch’s connectivity.
If you are in Australia, USA or UK, please note: Spacetalk watches are softlocked to Spacetalk Mobile SIM plan. An unlocking fee may apply if you want to use an alternate provider. See Unlocking fees for more details.
Once everything is set up, you can manage the watch using the Spacetalk App installed on your smartphone.
Managing Spacetalk Devices with the App
The Spacetalk App is your central hub for managing your devices. Through the app, you can:
Set up and make changes to SIM card plans (for countries with Spacetalk Mobile),
Set up and configure the settings for your watch,
Manage the watch contacts and settings,
Monitor location and activity directly from your smartphone.
