What do I need to know before buying a used Spacetalk watch?

What to check before purchasing a secondhand Spacetalk watch, including unpairing and SIM requirements.

If you are buying a Spacetalk watch from a previous owner, there are two things you need to confirm before you can get the watch set up.

Make sure the watch has been unpaired from the seller's account

Ask the seller to unpair the watch from their Spacetalk App account before handing it over. If the watch is still paired to the previous owner's account, you will not be able to pair it to yours.

Important: For security and privacy reasons, a Spacetalk watch can only be paired to one account at a time. The watch must be unlinked from the original owner's account before it can be paired to a new one.

If the seller is unable to unpair the watch, contact our Support team via live chat before purchasing.

Make sure you have a SIM and an active plan

The seller should have removed their SIM from the watch before handing it over. You will need your own SIM and an active plan to get the watch working.

Australia, UK, and USA
