Most Spacetalk watches sold after March 2024 are soft-locked to the Spacetalk Mobile network. This means the watch is designed to work with a Spacetalk SIM, and you will need either a Spacetalk Watch Subscription or a Spacetalk Mobile plan to pair the watch with the app.
Note: Spacetalk products do not support the Spusu network anywhere globally.
What happens if I use a different SIM?
A watch with a non-Spacetalk SIM will not pair to the app by default. If you already have an active non-Spacetalk SIM in the watch, the pairing flow gives you the option to continue — select My SIM is active when no Spacetalk SIM is detected. An unlocking fee may apply.
How to activate your Spacetalk Mobile SIM
If your watch came with a Spacetalk Mobile SIM, we recommend activating it for the best experience. You can port your current number or take a new one during activation.

Unlocking fees
If your SIM is active but the watch still will not pair, the watch may be soft-locked to Spacetalk Mobile. You can pay an unlocking fee to use a different provider's SIM — contact our Support team via live chat to arrange this.

Australia | AU$80 (watches purchased from Telstra or Optus are already unlocked) |
