Failed to Verify When Logging In

Normally when you log in to your Spacetalk App or the web app (https://app.spacetalk.co/), you enter your email address or phone number.

We will then send you a verification code to enter. You have 5 minutes to use the code sent otherwise it will expire. If didn't get the code, you can try to resend another one.

If you have attempted this several times and are getting "Failed to verify code!" error message, try these troubleshooting steps.

Things to check first:

  • VPN users: Remove the VPN then try to log in.

  • Android users: Android puts these types of messages into SPAM folder. Check your SPAM folder if the message is there. Be sure to mark these as safe messages for the next time you need to log in.

Step 1: Close the App

Force close the Spacetalk App.

Once the app is closed, re-open the app. Make sure the app is forced closed, not just put into the background.

Step 2: Reinstall the App

If you have force closed the Spacetalk App and are still encountering the same issue, next step is to uninstall the app.

Once you have uninstalled it, you can install it again.
