If you’re not receiving One-Time Password (OTP) messages on your Android device, they may be going to your Spam or Blocked messages folder. Android automatically filters messages it thinks might be spam. Follow the steps below to ensure you receive OTPs without issues.

Step 1: Check Your Spam Messages

Open the Messages app (Google Messages or your default SMS app)

  1. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner

  2. Select Spam & blocked

  3. If you see an OTP message from Spacetalk:

    1. Open it

    2. Tap Not spam

This helps Android recognise future OTPs from us as safe.

Step 2. Add the Sender to Your Contacts

Saving the sender number makes Android less likely to block future messages.

  1. Open the OTP message

  2. Tap the sender number

  3. Select Add to contacts

Step 3. Ensure the Messages App Has Required Permissions

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Messages

  2. Tap Permissions

  3. Make sure SMS is allowed

    1. Set it as your default SMS app

    2. Request a new OTP
