Set up your Spacetalk App

Download the Spacetalk app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, or search for “Spacetalk” in your store.

Open the app. Enter your email address or mobile number, then tap Continue. We’ll send a one-time code by email or SMS, depending on what you entered.

Enter the one-time code to confirm your account.

To keep your account secure, confirm your second detail: if you signed up with an email, enter your mobile number (or the reverse), then enter the one-time code we send.

Add a photo (optional) and your name, then tap Continue. This is what other family members will see.

You will get a welcome screen, tap Get started.

After that, you’ll see a few short screens introducing what you can do with Spacetalk. Tap through them to continue.

Spacetalk uses location to keep your family connected. You’ll be guided through the permissions one screen at a time — tap Allow on each to continue.

We recommend allowing “Always” (background) location access. This lets Spacetalk keep sharing location with the people you invite, even when the app isn’t open — so your family can see each other on the map, and check-ins and arrival updates keep working reliably in the background.

That’s your account set up. Next, you’ll be taken to Let’s set up your family, where you can add your kids and the people you look after. See “Set up your family” to continue.
