How to Transfer Your SIM Card and Service to a New Spacetalk Watch
If you have a new Spacetalk watch and would like to continue using your SIM card from the previous watch, you simply need to remove the SIM from the old watch and place it in the new. We would also recommend having the new watch switched off when doing this, so it can be turned on once the SIM is inside. This gives the watch the best chance at being able to recognize an active SIM has been entered.
Despite using the same phone number, as the watch is new, it’ll have a new IMEI number which is device specific. You’ll need to add the new watch as a new managed user to your Space.

Using the Same SIM Card on a New Watch
Check Your SIM Card: Confirm that your current SIM card and its service are active. If you have an active service, you can reuse the SIM in your new Spacetalk watch.
Unpair the Old Device: Before inserting the SIM into your new watch, unpair the old watch from the Spacetalk app on your mobile device. This ensures a seamless handover to the new watch.
Insert and Pair: Place the SIM card into the new watch, and pair the watch with the Spacetalk app. Pairing updates the configuration to link with the new watch.
Lost or Damaged SIM
If your SIM is damaged or lost, you will need to contact your SIM provider to get a replacement.
In Australia, UK & USA
If you are using a Spacetalk mobile service and your SIM is lost or damaged, you can chat to us to get a replacement SIM. Once you get the replacement SIM, see Replacement SIM to move your existing service onto the new SIM card.
Your watch’s number and mobile balance should remain unchanged as long as they were active on the old device.
Make sure your plan has been successfully updated with the new SIM details on your mobile/membership portal.
Typically, after the SIM replacement is completed and confirmed, you should power cycle or reset the watch.

Check Compatibility: Ensure that your SIM card and plan supports the Spacetalk watch model. If you are not using a Spacetalk SIM in applicable countries, an unlocking fee may be required. See Using different mobile provider.
