Instructions on how to move your existing Spacetalk Mobile service onto a new physical SIM or eSIM to continue use.

How to Replace SIM via the Mobile App

Step 1: Access your Spacetalk Mobile Membership via the app

Accessing your mobile account details is easy. Log into your Spacetalk app.

On the bottom, select Membership.

Step 2: Select the Plan You Want to Update

You will see a list of your active plans on the page. Select the plan that you want to replace the SIM for.

Step 3: Choose Replace SIM

From the available options, choose what you would like to do:

Step 4: How to replace your SIM

After you’ve selected Replace SIM, you’ll see a list of steps required during the process. If you’re planning to use a physical SIM card, please make sure you have it ready. Once ready, press ‘Continue’.

Step 5: SIM Details

Here you can select between physical SIM and eSIM.

eSIM: make sure your device is eSIM compatible before proceeding. Once you’re sure you would like to proceed, press the tick box to acknowledge and select ‘Continue’.

Physical SIM: enter the SIM number visible on the SIM, it typically begins with 4000. Once done, select Continue.

Step 6: Access Type

To make sure there are no unauthorized SIM replacements, you’ll be required to enter an access code. You can select to receive this code via SMS or email to the details you used to create your Spacetalk Mobile service. Once done, select Send Code.

Step 7: Enter Code

Once you have received the code, please enter where prompted and select Verify.

Step 7: Done!

Your old SIM will be disconnected, and your new SIM will become active with the same plan and number. You can start using your service immediately, however we would recommend switching the device containing the SIM off and on again so it gets a chance to update and read the new SIM card.

How to Replace SIM via the Web App

You can also replace your SIM via the web app available on the Spacetalk website.

Step 1: Log into your Spacetalk Web App

You can log into your Spacetalk Web App via our website: spacetalk.co

To view your Spacetalk Mobile services, click ‘View All’ under your SIM Plans.

Step 2: Select the Plan

Select from the list of active Spacetalk Mobile services the plan you wish to make changes to.

Step 3: Select Replace SIM

On the new page you’ll be able to view your Spacetalk Mobile service and all available actions on your account. To Replace SIM, select Replace SIM under the Actions menu.

Step 4: SIM Details

Here you can select between physical SIM and eSIM.
