Who pays for postage for warranty repairs?

In warranty Repairs

Spacetalk will cover postage for all in warranty items. We will provide a shipping label for you to return the items.

However, if we determine that your repair falls outside of our warranty, you will need to pay for the postage. During the assessment phase, should we identify a warranty issue, we will reimburse you for the postage costs.

Out of Warranty Repairs

Customers are responsible for paying the postage costs to send the item for out of warranty repair. However, this cost may be reimbursable under specific conditions detailed below.

Warranty Defects and Reimbursement Eligibility

If the product is confirmed to have a warranty defect after the repair assessment, the customer will be eligible to recover reasonable postage or transportation costs.

To qualify for postage reimbursement, customers must retain the original postage receipt. The receipt serves as proof of cost incurred and is necessary to process reimbursement. Ensure the receipt is safely kept until the assessment is complete.

  1. Send the Item: Use a reliable courier or postage service to send the product for warranty repair. Make sure to get a receipt.

  2. Retain Receipt: Keep the postage receipt as it will be required for the reimbursement process.

  3. Undergo Warranty Assessment: Allow time for the product to be assessed for warranty defects by the repair team.

  4. Request Reimbursement: If the warranty defect is confirmed, submit your postage receipt as part of the reimbursement process.

  5. Receive Reimbursement: Upon verification, the customer will be reimbursed for reasonable postage costs.
