Enable your Free Spacetalk App Subscription

Customers in Australia, United States and United Kingdom are eligible for a free Spacetalk app subscription when they have a Spacetalk Mobile plan for the Spacetalk watch. Spacetalk offers two main subscription models tied to its devices: Mobile Plan and Wearable Plan. The Mobile Plan is for general handset usage, while the Wearable Plan is specifically designed for wearable devices like Spacetalk smartwatches.

To enable your free app subscription, refer to the following table. Please note that Spacetalk kids watches benefit from automatic subscription benefits through their associated plans.

Australia

Your free Spacetalk App will automatically be applied to your Spacetalk Adventurer or Loop watches when using a Spacetalk Mobile SIM card.

During the pairing process, the app will automatically detect the Spacetalk Mobile SIM and will apply the free app subscription with no further action required.

Note: a free app subscription will only apply to devices that are using a Spacetalk Mobile SIM - so if you have more than one watch, they will all be required to use a Spacetalk Mobile SIM to take advantage of the free app subscription.

How to Seek a Refund if You've Accidentally Purchased an App Subscription

If you've accidentally purchased a Spacetalk app subscription you don't require during the pairing process, please follow the below links to request a refund via your phone's app store:

If your Spacetalk Watch isn't using a Spacetalk Mobile SIM

Soft-Locking

Spacetalk watches are soft-locked to Spacetalk Mobile plans* in applicable countries. This means the device will not operate on another network's SIM card even if you have a subscription to the app. If you don't have a Spacetalk Mobile plan, your watch will not pair to the app. There is an unlocking fee if you want to unlock your device. What we would recommend is activating the SIM card that came with your watch. This is a SIM for Spacetalk mobile, and can be activated on any of our great plans for wearable devices.

This will also give you free access to our app, meaning you would not need to pay the monthly app subscription fee. Your device should have come with a SIM card either in the box or preinstalled in the watch.
