How do I reset my Spacetalk watch?

How to power cycle, soft reset, or factory reset your Spacetalk watch.

If your watch is having issues, there are three ways to reset it depending on the severity of the problem. Always try a power cycle or soft reset first before attempting a factory reset.

Power cycle

A power cycle is the standard way to turn the watch off and back on.

  1. Press and hold the power button on the back of the watch.

  2. Two options will appear: Power Off or Restart.

  3. Select the option you prefer.

Soft reset

A soft reset forces the watch to shut down and restart without pressing anything on the screen, and without losing any data or settings. Use this if the watch screen is frozen or unresponsive.

  1. Locate the power button on the back of the watch.

  2. Press and hold until the watch vibrates.

  3. Wait for the watch to shut down and restart on its own.

Factory reset

A factory reset erases all data on the watch and requires you to pair it again. Only use this if a soft reset does not resolve the issue.

Important: A factory reset cannot be undone. All data on the watch — including photos, messages, and audio — will be permanently deleted. Back up any photos or videos you want to keep by sending them from the watch via Chat before resetting.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the watch screen.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Scroll down and tap Factory Reset.

  4. Enter the last 4 digits of your watch's IMEI number as the password. You can find the IMEI under Settings > Information on the watch, or on the label on the side of your watch box.

Once the reset is complete, the watch will shut down and restart. You will need to re-pair it with the Spacetalk App. See How do I pair my Spacetalk watch with the app?.
