Troubleshooting Charging Issues with Your Loop

If your Loop does not appear to be charging, don't worry! There are a few simple steps you can follow to get your device back up and running.

Why isn't my Loop Charging?

If your Spacetalk Loop is not charging, there are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue.

Step 1: Inspect the Gold Contacts

The first thing to check is the four gold contacts on both the Charging Cradle and the rear of Spacetalk Loop. Make sure they are not damaged or dirty. If they are, gently clean them with a dry cloth.

Step 2: Check the Seating

Ensure that Spacetalk Loop is seated correctly on the charging cradle and that the charging cradle is not upside down. The four gold contacts on the Charging Cable should line up with the four gold contacts on the back of Spacetalk Loop.

Step 3: Test the USB Power Source

To make sure the USB power source is working, try plugging in another charging cable for a phone or other device. If it can send a charge, then the issue is not with the power source.

Step 5: Perform a Soft Reset

If the previous steps have not resolved the issue, try holding down the Power Button for 20 seconds to perform a soft reset. This may help to reset any charging issues.
