Top Tip: Before you start, make sure you’re logged into your Spacetalk app using the same email address used originally to pair your watch.

Step 1: Is the watch is already paired

Easily check to see if your watch is already paired in the app by following these steps:

  • Log into your Spacetalk App

  • Tap on ‘Profile’ at the bottom right of the screen

  • Under the heading, you will see the member name for who the watch is paired to.

    • If it appears paired to the right member, but it does not appear to be paired on the watch, unpair the watch by scrolling to the bottom of the the ‘Watch settings’ screen, and tap on ‘Unpair watch’

    • If you see your own name or another name that it’s not supposed to be paired to, scroll down to the bottom of the ‘Watch settings’ screen and tap on ‘Unpair watch’

  • The watch is now unpaired. Go to Step 2 ‘Factory Reset’.

Step 2: Factory Reset the Watch

Once you are sure the watch is unpaired from the app, you will need to factory reset the watch, to disconnect form the watch side as well.

IMPORTANT: To factory reset your watch, you’ll need 4 digit password. This is the last 4 digits of your watch’s IMEI number. The IMEI number can be found:

  • on the box that your watch came in, or

  • by selecting Settings > Information on your watch.

Top Tip: In cases where the watch is paired to a previous owner’s account (e.g. a watch was handed down by a family member or purchased second hand), it may still be paired to the original owner’s account if they didn’t unpair it correctly.

If this is the case, contact this person and ask them to unpair the watch following the process in Step 1.

If you cannot contact this person, you will need to contact Spacetalk Customer Support.

Step 3: Pair the Watch

Once the app pairing has been removed and the watch is reset, you’re now ready to pair the watch again.

  • Open your Spacetalk App and log in.

  • In your Family Space, press the blue + in the bottom right corner.

  • Select ‘Pair a Watch’

  • Select the member you’d like to pair the watch to, or select ‘Create new managed member’ at the bottom of the screen (be careful not to pair the watch to yourself)

  • Follow the prompts in the app to finalise pairing your watch
