SOS Contacts -> SOS Watch Contacts
How it works in the new Spacetalk app
SOS contacts for Spacetalk watches are set up directly on the watch
When the SOS alarm is triggered from the watch, the watch will call the contacts on this list in order, starting from the top
The watch will call each number until one answers

Members in a Space with the watch will also receive a push notification
First we set up the SOS Watch Contacts on the watch so that when the SOS alarm is triggered by the watch, the contacts on this list will receive a phone call. The calls will be sequenced by the order people are added to this list, starting at the top. People within the space who have opted into being an SOS contacted will receive a push notification.
Note: the watch will call contacts in sequence until it registers an answer. It will however log voicemail as an answer and discontinue the calling of contacts.

Find the SOS Watch Contacts
Navigate to the Profile section of the app, tapping on the menu item in the bottom right
Select the member under 'Managed member' section
Select the watch under 'Member watch'
Select SOS settings under 'Watch safety'
You can have up to 3 SOS contacts for your watch. The SOS alert will be sent to all of them.
Tap ‘Add new SOS contact’. The watch will call the contacts on this list in order until someone answers. Note, reaching someone's voicemail is understood as an “answer”, and will stop calling anyone further on the list
You can select from your list a watch contacts or create custom contact if the contact is not sharing a space with you in in the Spacetalk App already. You can include custom contacts like landline numbers of neighbours or relatives, police stations or any other contact number that is not set up in a Space. For custom contacts, enter the name and phone number to be added to your SOS contact.
You can remove contacts by swiping left on the Contact name in your SOS contact priority list.
Chat Contacts -> Invite to your Space
Old App
Users who were invited to the app and could see the location of the watch, and contact the watch
New App
Adding contacts to a Space is the best way to allow them to see location, and contact the watch.
Open your Spacetalk App and tap blue '+' icon (see image below)
Select "Add Member" from Menu
At the top of the screen, select Invite Members.
Share Invite code: You can invite someone by sharing with them the unique invite code. You can read it out to them or select ‘share code’, which you can drop into a message or WhatsApp
Invite someone you already share a Space with: Below this you will see anyone you already share a space with. Tapping the plus will trigger an invite to them via the app and SMS. You will know when the invite is sent as the plus will change to a tick.
Invite from your contacts: If you would like to invite someone via your contacts. Simply tap the button ‘invite from your contacts’ and you will be prompted to share your contacts access with the app. Tapping the plus will trigger an invite to them via SMS. You will know when the invite is sent as the plus will change to a tick.

A number which is added to the watch call and SMS allow list.
New App
To give people access to the contact the watch only, and not see their the watch location.
Create a Space: Press on the blue plus icon in the bottom right corner.
Select Create new Space in the menu
Name your Space: On the new screen, name you Space
Add existing or create new managed members to your Space
Pair a Watch: you can pair a Spacetalk watch to a member you already manage to stay connected with kids or older family members on the go
Set up Managed Member: this is ideal for a child, older person or someone who’s app account you would like to manage.
Once your Managed Member is in the Space, you will need to change what they share to the space
To edit this, go to the settings tog in the top right, and scroll down to Member Management, and select the member you want to edit share you share. Turn of all space data sharing options, except Chat. We also suggest we do this for yourself in this space.
Return to the Space, and follow the same invite steps to add who you'd like to grant this access to. They will be required to download and sign-up the app . Once they join, they will appear as a contact on the watch.
