Chat is the function of messages being sent between the app and watch using mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Chats can be initiated from the app or watch to pre-approved contacts added to the app in a shared space.
Chats can be between single people or group conversations in the app.

SMS
SMS messages can be sent and received by the watch, using the credit available via the watch's SIM card. When sending SMS messages to the watch, you can use the normal SMS app on your phone - like you would send SMS messages to another mobile phone
