Using a SIM card from your home country with international roaming enabled allows you to maintain coverage while abroad without switching to a local SIM. However, verify with your provider for costs and roaming agreements in your destination country.

While the watch can work in certain overseas countries, it does require that the network is WCDMA 3G 2100Mhz and 850Mhz. Unfortunately, USA and Canada do not use this type of network, so the watches outside those countries are incompatible. This means that the watch will be unable to obtain a network connection while in these countries. Models designed for US/Mexico markets cannot function in other regions and vice versa, even after unlocking, due to differences in network band configurations.

If your watch is network-unlocked, ensure that the local carrier supports both the required network frequencies and the Spacetalk-compatible SIM.

In some cases, your Spacetalk watch might be locked to a specific SIM provider. Unlocking the watch allows the use of any compatible SIM. Contact Spacetalk support for assistance and note there might be a fee, which varies by device and region.

Adventurer 1 (Model ST2-4G-1) will work on 4G Bands: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28 and 3G Bands: B1/B5/B8. Where GSM networks are still available 2G: 900/1800MHz.

Spacetalk watches are designed to work overseas if compatibility requirements are met. Be sure to check the availability of necessary network frequencies (as provided in model specifications) and prepare early by unlocking your device if needed.

Adventurer 2 (Model ST2-4G-1) will work on 4G Bands: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28 and 3G Bands: B1/B5/B8. Where GSM networks are still available 2G: 900/1800MHz.

Before traveling, always verify that the SIM you plan to use is compatible with the Spacetalk watch and the destination country network. Avoid surprises by checking the availability of required frequency bands and understanding potential roaming or unlocking costs.
