Add a senior or dependent, like an elderly parent or dependent adult, to your Spacetalk family. Like adding a kid, you enter their name, age and device, and we set up the right account.
Who this is for: Spacetalk App users who look after a senior or dependent adult, like an elderly parent, who has a Spacetalk watch or a mobile phone.
How to add a senior or dependent
Step 1: Open Add a Senior or Dependent
You can open Add a Senior or Dependent in two ways:
During family setup: On the Is there anyone else you'd like to look after? screen, tap Add a Senior or Dependent.
At any other time: From the Spaces screen, tap the blue + button in the bottom-right corner, tap Add Member, then Invite a new member, and choose Add a Senior or Dependent.
Step 2: Enter their details
In the drawer that slides up, add a photo (optional) and their name, and set their age or date of birth. Then choose their device: Watch or Mobile.
Step 3: Complete setup for their device type
If they have a Spacetalk watch:
Tap Continue — you will pair the watch to their profile. If they have a Spacetalk Mobile SIM, their phone number is added automatically when you activate the SIM. If you are using a different SIM, you will enter their number manually. See Pair your Spacetalk Watch.
If they have a mobile phone:
Enter their mobile number, or tap Select from Contacts to choose it from your address book, then tap Continue. Spacetalk sends them an SMS invitation. When they tap the invitation link, they set up their own Spacetalk App account and join your family.
