Some older Samsung handset devices may not be able to call Triple Zero (000) via the Vodafone network when the primary mobile network is unavailable. This issue was identified by Spacetalk's mobile service provider.
What you need to do
Depending on your Samsung device model, take one of two actions:
Replace your device with a newer model, or
Update your device to the latest software version

How to check your Samsung model number
Open Settings on your phone.
Scroll to About phone to find your model number.
How to update your Samsung software
Open Settings on your phone.
Scroll to and tap Software update (or System updates depending on your model).
Tap Download and install.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Note: If your software is already up to date, you will see the message "Your software is up to date."
