If your Adventurer is not charging, work through the steps below in order.
Step 1: Clean the charging contacts
Dirt or debris on the charging contacts can prevent a proper connection. Check the four gold contacts on the back of the watch and on the charging dock. If they are dirty, gently clean them with a dry cloth.
Step 2: Check the charging dock seating
Make sure the Adventurer is properly seated on the charging dock and that the dock is not upside down. The four gold contacts on the dock must line up with the four gold contacts on the back of the watch.
Step 3: Check the USB power source
Check that the light on the charging dock is green when plugged in. If there is no light, the issue may be with the USB power source or cable — try a different cable or plug.
Step 4: Perform a soft reset
Hold down the power button on the back of the watch until it vibrates. The watch will shut down and restart automatically. Once restarted, place it back on the dock and check whether charging resumes.
