The watch has a built-in SOS feature that lets the watch wearer quickly alert their emergency contacts if they need help. The watch can hold up to 3 SOS contacts and will call them in sequence until someone answers.
Important: Voicemail is treated as an answered call. If a contact's voicemail picks up, the watch will stop calling and will not continue to the next contact on the list.
SOS contacts can include custom contacts such as landline numbers, neighbours, relatives, or any other number not set up in a Space.
How to set up SOS contacts
Step 1: Go to Watch Settings
Open the Spacetalk App and tap Profile in the bottom right corner.
Select the Managed Member that has the watch.
Tap the watch in the Managed Member's profile.
In Watch Settings, scroll down and tap SOS under Watch Safety Settings.
Step 2: Add SOS contacts
Tap Add new SOS contact. You can choose from your existing watch contacts or tap Create custom contact to add a number not already in the Spacetalk App.
To remove a contact, tap the contact name in the SOS contact priority list.
How to send an SOS alert from the watch
Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face.
Swipe the emergency icon from left to right as prompted to activate SOS.
Pressing SOS automatically alerts your trusted emergency contacts. An option to dial emergency services also appears on the watch screen, which your child can press.
What happens on the app when SOS is activated?
When the watch wearer activates SOS, an alert appears in the Spacetalk App with the following options:
Call — call the watch wearer directly.
See their location — view their current location on the map.
Cancel the SOS — cancel on their behalf if it was pressed accidentally and the wearer could not cancel it in time.
