Reach your Space members in an emergency by tapping SOS in the Spacetalk App. After a 10-second countdown, members with SOS alerts on get your location and a prompt to contact you.
Note: Managed Members — such as children or elderly family members with a Spacetalk watch — are not sent SOS alerts when you trigger one from the app.
How to send an SOS alert
Step 1: Open the SOS button
Open the Spacetalk App — you will land on your Spaces screen. Tap the SOS button in the top left corner of your Space.
Step 2: Confirm the alert
A 10-second countdown begins. If the SOS button was pressed by accident, tap Stop, I am Safe! at the bottom of the screen to cancel.
Once the countdown ends, an alert is sent to all Space members with SOS contact enabled. The alert includes your current location.
How to manage your SOS contact settings
Each Space member can choose whether to receive SOS alerts in each of their Spaces. To change your SOS alert setting:
Open the Spacetalk App and go to the relevant Space.
Tap the Settings cog in the top right corner.
Select Space data settings.
Toggle Receive SOS alerts on or off.
