If you are a member of a Space that includes a Spacetalk watch, you can opt in to receive SOS alerts when the watch wearer presses the SOS button. Each member controls their own SOS contact setting — the Space admin cannot turn it on for you.
How to enable yourself as an SOS contact
Step 1: Open the Space settings
Open the Spacetalk App, go to the Space that includes the watch, and tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
Step 2: Open Member Management
Scroll down the Space Settings menu and tap Member Management.
Step 3: Select yourself
Tap your own name in the member list to open your settings for this Space.
Step 4: Enable SOS contact
Tap the toggle next to SOS contact. When the toggle turns green, you are now set as an SOS contact for this Space.
When the SOS button is pressed on the watch, you will receive a push notification alert.
Note: You can view another member's Space settings using the same steps, but you cannot edit what other members share. Each member manages their own settings.
