Emergency contacts can be added via your Space on the Spacetalk app, allowing notifications to be sent to specific people when the SOS button is pressed on the watch and via a user of the Spacetalk app.
How to add an Emergency SOS Contact
Step 1: Access your Spacetalk App
Log in to your Spacetalk app, and once done, press the settings icon in the top right corner.
Step 2: Member Management
The member will need to log into their app, and navigate to the Space settings, scroll down the Space Settings menu and select Member Management
Step 3: Select Themselves
They will then need to select themselves to edit their settings in this space.
Step 4: Enable SOS Contact
Each member can choose the data that is shared. To make this person an emergency contact, they will need to press the toggle next to SOS contact – when this is green, they are now an emergency contact.
When SOS is triggered, this person will now be notified.
You can view their settings yourself by following the same steps and navigating to their space data settings screen. You will not be able to edit what they share.
