One of the safety features in the Spacetalk App is to be able to create Managed Members. Managed Members are restricted accounts that have delegated controls, usually to a parent or carer. A Spacetalk App account holder can create Managed Members in their account for someone that will have restricted access to the Spacetalk App.

If you have a Spacetalk watch, such as the Loop, Adventurer or Life, you can pair the watch wearer as a Managed Member so that you can control the permissions and settings of the watch. When the watch is paired, you will be able to see their updates on the Spacetalk App.

Accessing your Spacetalk account is easy. Log into your Spacetalk app and once done, select the blue + icon in the bottom right corner.

Once the new menu has popped up on the screen, select Add Member.

Select Set up Managed Account to add a managed user. This is ideal for a child, older person or someone who’s account you would like to manage.

Enter the managed users details where prompted. You’ll be required to enter their name, date of birth, a profile picture and to agree to the terms and conditions before being able to proceed. Once done, select Continue.

On this new menu, you can select what information you’d like the member to be able to access in this Space. This can be changed at any time from your Profile. See here to get to your Profile page: link

Once you’ve completed your selection, press Continue

The managed user’s device can be set up in multiple ways – first you’ll be provided with a QR code which the user can scan with their device to finalise the sign-in and sign-up process.

Alternatively, you can select Share Link which will allow you to send the link directly to the person so they can finalise the set up in their own time.

Once the managed user has finalised the process, they will appear on your Space, both on your Spacetalk app and theirs.
