Telstra Wholesale Network Outage

On Wednesday 8th July 2026, our network partner Telstra Wholesale is currently experiencing a major network outage that may be impacting your services. Telstra Wholesale is working urgently to restore services as quickly as possible.

What’s Happening

The original issue impacting mobile calls, SMS and data on Telstra Wholesale’s network has now been resolved. Most services are back to normal.

However, there remains a risk that some Triple Zero (000) calls may still be affected. If this happens, you may receive an error message and your phone will attempt to connect to an alternative mobile network.

What Telstra Wholesale Is Doing

Telstra Wholesale has made good progress, reducing the occurrence of the Triple Zero calling error by approximately 90%, and continues to work to eliminate this issue entirely.

Telstra Wholesale’s welfare check process remains in place, so if a Triple Zero call doesn’t connect through their network, a welfare check will be completed as standard.

What You Can Do

If you experience any issues calling Triple Zero (000):

Wait for your phone to connect to an alternative network if one is available. This can take up to 90 seconds.

Use a different phone to make the call, if one is available.

New Connections & Porting

During the outage, our ability to make changes in Telstra Wholesale’s system was also impacted. If you requested a new connection or a port during this time, this is now being processed, though you may see a short delay.
