Check what the light on your Spacetalk Adventurer or Adventurer 2 charging dock means. While charging, solid red is normal, solid green means fully charged, and flashing red and green means very low battery.
Who this is for: Owners of a Spacetalk Adventurer or Adventurer 2. These charger lights don't apply to the Spacetalk Loop.
Which watches use this charging dock?
These lights apply to the charging dock for the Spacetalk Adventurer and Adventurer 2. They don't apply to the Spacetalk Loop.
What does each charger light mean?
The table shows what each light colour means when the dock is plugged in on its own and while the watch is charging.
Light | What it means |
Solid green (not plugged in) | The charger has power and is ready to use. |
Solid red (while charging) | The watch is charging normally. |
Flashing red and green (while charging) | The battery is very low. The watch is charging slowly to protect the battery. Once the watch has enough charge, the charger light will switch to solid red and charge at normal speed. |
Solid green (while charging) | The watch is fully charged. |
What if my watch still will not charge?
Work through these checks in order:
Clean the charging contacts. Check the four gold contacts on the back of the watch and on the charging dock. If they are dirty, gently clean them with a dry cloth.
Check the watch is seated on the dock. Make sure the dock is not upside down, and the four gold contacts on the dock line up with the four gold contacts on the back of the watch.
Check the USB power. If the dock shows no light when plugged in, the issue may be with the USB power source or cable. Try a different cable or plug.
If it still won't charge, try a soft reset. See Why is my Spacetalk Adventurer not charging?
