You can add contacts to your child's Spacetalk watch without requiring the person to download the Spacetalk App. This is useful for grandparents, neighbours, and other trusted adults who need to contact the watch directly but do not need to be part of a Space.
Note: This feature requires Spacetalk App version 10.15.0 or higher. Check your app store for updates if you do not see this option.
How to add a contact
Step 1: Open Profile
In the Spacetalk App, tap Profile in the bottom right corner.
Step 2: Select the Managed Member
Under the Managed Member section, tap the member you want to add contacts for.
Step 3: Select the watch
In the member profile, tap their watch.
Step 4: Open Watch Contacts
In the Watch Settings menu, scroll down and tap Watch Contacts.
Step 5: Add a new contact
At the bottom of the screen, tap Add New Contact.
Step 6: Enter the contact details
Enter the contact's name and phone number, then tap Save Watch Contact.
This person can now call and message the watch by SMS, just like contacting any other mobile phone. They do not need the Spacetalk App.
