Add Alternate Security Authentication

You can enable alternative ways to log into your Spacetalk app to make your account more secure.

Updated this week

Step 1: Access your Profile on the Spacetalk App

Accessing your profile is easy, log into your Spacetalk app and select the Profile button in the bottom right corner.

Step 2: Navigate your Profile

In the new menu, you’ll see every feature that’s available to you via your personal profile. Scroll down to find the Security section, and select Biometrics – this will help you enable both your Face ID and Touch ID.

Step 3: Enable Face ID

A new pop-up will appear on the screen which will prompt you to enable your Face ID. Please select Enable Face ID and follow the prompts provided by your phone.

Once this has been successful, you’ll be notified the Face ID is enabled and you’ll be able to press Continue to proceed.

Step 4: Enable Touch ID

Like the previous step, a new pop up will appear which will prompt you to enable your Touch ID. Please select Enable Touch ID and follow the prompts provided by your phone.

Once this has been successful, you’ll be notified the Touch ID is enabled and you can press Continue.

Step 5: Done!

Once you’ve followed the above steps, you’ll now be able to open your Spacetalk app via your Face or Touch ID. Please note, this feature can be turned off via your profile settings at any time if no longer required.

Please note: Leaving and reopening the app will trigger these alternate authentication methods. If you shut down and close the app, you will be required to log in by one time passcode.
