If your Spacetalk Mobile SIM plan is not working, work through the steps below.
Step 1: Check the status of your SIM plan
Open the Spacetalk App and tap Membership at the bottom of the screen. Under Your SIM Plans, tap the phone number you want to check.
Note: If you do not see your SIM plan, the plan may have been set up using a different email address. If you set up your mobile account before 15 November 2025, a separate email may have been used. Contact our Support team via live chat and we can transfer the details across after verifying your identity. Do not try to re-activate a SIM that was previously activated — you will receive a "SIM number invalid" error.
Step 2: Check if your SIM plan is still active
In the plan details, check the Days left and Data remaining figures.
If Days left shows 0, your plan has expired and needs to be recharged.
If Data remaining shows 0, your data allowance is exhausted.
To recharge, tap Recharge plan from the Actions list and follow the prompts. You can select the same plan you previously had.
Important: Do not try to re-activate your SIM by entering your SIM number again. If the SIM was previously activated, this will return a "SIM number invalid" error. Use Recharge plan instead.
Why does "SIM number invalid" appear?
This error appears when you try to activate a SIM that has already been activated. The SIM only needs to be activated once. To top up or continue using it, use Recharge plan in the Membership section — not the activation flow.
