Need to track regular trips, like school or work commutes? Routes sends alerts to you when a member of your Space starts their journey, tracks their location in real time, and sends you a gentle reminder via your app if they deviate from the designated path.
How to Setup a Route
Step 1: Add Route
To find this feature on your Spacetalk app, from your Space press the plus button in the bottom right corner
Once done, select Add Route from the pop-up menu
Step 2: New Route
On this new page, you’ll be able to set up your new Route by adding its details.
To begin, first add a start point – press in the Search address box and start typing.
Once you have the desired address, press on it to select. Once done, repeat the same step with the end point of the Route.

Step 3: Method of Transportation
Underneath the start and end point, you can select the common mode of transportation. Just press on the icon that matches to confirm.
Once done, select Setup Route
Step 4: Route Settings
Once you’ve set up the start and end point, you can then edit the specific details of the route. Below the start and end point, you’ll see a slider labelled Deviation Allowance – this can be moved left to right depending on how much deviation from the path you would like to allow. If the person travelling this route moves away from the path, you’ll be gently reminded via your Spacetalk app.

Step 5: Route Name
Add a custom name via the text box under Route Name (this can also include emojis)
Step 6: Notification Preferences
Select the members you’d like to get notifications for when they’re on the route. You can turn on the notifications for yourself by pressing the toggle next to Notify about all Members.
If you’d only like to know about specific Space members, please press the toggle next to their profile – when it’s green, this means you’ll receive notifications.
Step 7: Save route
Once you’re happy with the settings of your Route, press Save Route – and you’re done!
Changes can be made to your Route at any time from your Spacetalk app.
