Using Video Call on the Adventurer

Follow this article to find out how to video call with your Spacetalk Adventurer watch.

Updated this week

Video calls can be made between Spacetalk app and Adventurer watch users.

Anyone who has a Spacetalk app account and is a member of the same Space as an Adventurer watch, will be able to call each other.

Please note, video calls have a two-minute timer on the watch and will end automatically when that limit is reached.

On the Spacetalk App

Step 1: Access your Spacetalk App

Log in to your Spacetalk app, and once done, select the icon of the person you would like to video call.

Step 2: Pull up on the Actions menu

Once you’ve selected the person you’d like to video call, you’ll be directed to the map screen and the member profile card associated with their watch. To view more options, swipe the menu upwards.

Step 3: Select Video Call

Find and select the Video Call option. This will dial to the watch, which will then ring and allow the wearer to pick up.

Once the call has been picked up, you’ll see the video feed on your screen and additional options will be available at the bottom. You’ll be able to flip your camera, mute and unmute your mic, as well as end the call.

On the Adventurer

Select Video Call on the watch

On the Adventurer, swipe from the right of the screen to the left to view the different menu options. Once Video Call has been located, press this to view your contact menu. When you’re ready to make the call, select the contact.
