Only the Space owner can transfer ownership. When you transfer ownership, you will lose admin abilities including adding or removing members, creating Places and Routes, and deleting the Space.
Important: If you want to leave a Space, transfer ownership to another member first — otherwise the Space has no owner and cannot be managed.
How to change Space ownership
Step 1: Go to your Space
Open the Spacetalk App and go to the Space whose ownership you want to transfer. If you are in multiple Spaces, swipe left to navigate between them.
Step 2: Open Space Settings
Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Open Member Management
In Space Settings, tap Member Management.
Step 4: Tap your own profile
Tap your own profile — you can only initiate an ownership transfer from your own profile, not from another member's.
Step 5: Select Change Space ownership
Tap Change Space ownership to begin the transfer. You will be shown the access you will lose, which will be transferred to the new owner.
Step 6: Confirm the transfer
Review the changes and confirm to complete the transfer. You will remain in the Space as a regular member.
