Australia: Cancel your Spacetalk Mobile plan

We'll show you how to cancel your mobile plan from the Spacetalk Mobile Portal.

Follow the steps below to cancel your plan in just a few clicks. If the device is no longer in use or the SIM card has been lost or disposed of, ensure you actively cancel your plan to stop unnecessary charges. Leaving your plan to lapse will not ensure charges will stop as our plans are on auto-renewal. Additionally, in a lost or unusable watch situation, you may cancel or transfer the service via the Spacetalk Mobile Portal.

Step 1: Access the Self-Service Portal

To begin the cancellation process, you will need to go to our self-service portal. You can access it by clicking on the following link: https://mobile-activate.au.spacetalk.co.

Step 2: Log in to Your Account

Once you have accessed the self-service portal, you will need to log in to your account. Use your customer number (provided via email/SMS during account setup) or the Spacetalk phone number and password that you used to set up your account. Avoid using your email for login, as it is not supported. If you have forgotten your password, don't worry! You can click on the "Reset Password" link to reset it.

Step 3: Select the Plan You Want to Cancel

After logging in, you will see a list of your active plans on the right-hand side of the page. Select the plan that you want to cancel. These active plans are located within the "main dashboard" section of the portal.

Step 4: Click on Disconnect

In the plan details, you will see an option to "Disconnect." Click on this to begin the cancellation process.

Step 5: Verify Your Account

Before the final cancellation step, you will be prompted to verify your account. This is to ensure that the cancellation request is coming from the account owner. Follow the prompts to complete the verification process.

Step 6: Confirm Cancellation

Once your account has been verified, you will be taken to the final cancellation step. Here, you will need to confirm that you want to cancel your plan. Once you have confirmed, your plan will be cancelled.

And that's it! You have successfully cancelled your Spacetalk plan through our self-service portal. If you have any further questions or concerns, chat to our customer support team for assistance.

What Happens After Cancellation

After successfully canceling your mobile plan or subscription:

  • Your plan will be cancelled and your service will stop immediately. We are unable to refund any unused prepaid mobile credits.

  • Your selected plan will no longer renew, and future charges will cease.

  • Note that any payments made before cancellation are non-refundable as per standard policies.

Managing Auto-Renewals for SpaceTalk Plans

All our plans are sold with automatic renewal of all services by default. If you want to stop your plan from auto-renewing, chat to our support team to deactivate auto-renewals. We will need to verify you for security purposes so make sure you have your account or mobile number ready.

Activating and Pairing Your SIM Service

After activating your SIM card, ensure it is properly paired with the Spacetalk App on your phone for seamless operation:

  • Launch the Spacetalk App on your smartphone.

  • Follow the prompts to pair the watch with the app.

  • Once paired, the watch should be fully operational and connected to the mobile service.
