Your email address and phone number are both used to sign in to the Spacetalk App. To update either one, you need to sign in using the new detail alongside the one you are keeping — this verifies the change is authorised.
Important: Always keep one detail the same when updating the other. If you change both at the same time, the app will create an entirely new account instead of updating your existing one.
To update your email address
Sign out of your account and fully close the app.
Open the app and sign in with your new email address and your existing phone number.
Verify both details using the one-time codes sent to each. Your account will update automatically once both are verified.
To update your phone number
Sign out of your account and fully close the app.
Open the app and sign in with your new phone number and your existing email address.
Verify both details using the one-time codes sent to each. Your account will update automatically once both are verified.
