Data gifting lets you share data from your Spacetalk Mobile plan with another Spacetalk Mobile handset plan holder.
Important: Before you gift data, make sure you have read the following rules:
Data gifting is only available between Spacetalk Mobile handset plans — you cannot gift data to or from a wearable (watch) plan.
You can only gift up to 50% of your plan's data per recharge — top-up and rollover data cannot be gifted.
Gifts can only be made in 1GB increments, up to a maximum of 5GB per gift.
The recipient must have an active Spacetalk Mobile handset number. You can gift to someone on a different account.
All data gifts are final and cannot be reversed.
Please check and confirm all details carefully before submitting a gift request.
How to gift data
Step 1: Open Membership
Open the Spacetalk App and tap Membership at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Select the plan you want to gift from
Under Your SIM Plans, tap the handset plan you want to use to gift data.
Step 3: Select Gift My Data
From the available actions, tap Gift my data.
Step 4: Enter the gift details
Select the amount you would like to gift (in 1GB increments) and enter the mobile number you want to gift it to. Tap Send Gift when ready.
Step 5: Done
Once the gift has been finalised, the recipient will receive a confirmation SMS.
